Keoni Kaumanua or Keone Michaels and a number of other internet “nom de plumes” are the blog writing persona for a grumpy old haole man, John Shklov, raised on, and who has lived a long and healthy life on Oahu, worked and retired on Kauai. Sometimes intimately involved, sometimes at a distance, Hawaii Politics and the whole political circus have been a big part of life for the writer. Opinionated, arrogant and direct. Yeah all that, but you will also get some “truthiness” (thanks Stephen) here! The opinions of the writer(s) are just that, opinions! Most of the writing is done by one author, Keone Michaels, but occasionally I get material from others that will be published. Guest editors are sometimes featured.
